Want to help out on the day by supporting and encouraging our awesome participants? all events need a great team of volunteers to help make the day successful and we would love for you to be a part of it. We have volunteer roles for: Registration/Race Pack Pick Up - helping with Athlete Race Pack Pick UP, checking in participants, handing out race number snad tshirts. Saturday 30th August 10am - 4pm. 6 hours. Set Up Team - helping with race day set up of the race hq area. Putting up gazebos, finish line barriers, finish arch, table, chairs, medals etc. sunday 31st august 4am - 6am. 2 hours. directional motivators aka Course Marshals - Helping encourage and direct participants around the course. Sunday 31st August 6am - 12noon. 6 hours. lead Cyclists - Helping guide Participants around the course. Sunday 31st august 6am - 9am for the Marathon. 3 hours. Sunday 31st august 7am - 8.30am for the Half marathon. 1.5 hours. sunday 31st august 9am - 10am for the quarter marathon. 1 hour. sunday 31st august 10am - 10.30am for the 5km. 0.5 hours. sunday 31st august 10.30am - 11am for the kids mile. 0.5 hours. Finish line assistants - Handing our medals and helping at the finish. Sunday 31st August 8am - 12noon. 4 hours. Tail end charlie - making sure all our participants get home safely. Sunday 31st August 6am - 12noon. 6 hours. pace Runners - Half Marathon Pacers are organised by MetroRun.
